YOUR NEXT STEPS
A little clarity.
A useful direction.
Observations from the agreed review
Practical recommendations and assumptions
Questions for your administrator
01 / FIND THE RIGHT QUESTION
Start with the part
that gets in the way.
A useful review starts with one clear problem. We choose one library or collaboration issue within your existing site and agree what can fit within the review.
“Where should this document go?”
Look at document organization, navigation, and how people find the information they need.
“Who can see what?”
Review visible access settings relevant to your question and identify what an administrator needs to confirm.
“What should we improve first?”
Turn the agreed collaboration problem into a short list of priorities and a practical next step.
02 / WHAT YOU RECEIVE
Work through it together.
Leave with a plan.
The engagement includes up to five total hours of my time across preparation, sessions, analysis, writing, and clarifications.
- 01UP TO 75 MINUTES
Intake and a focused review.
We agree on the question, then work through an intake review and a screen-sharing session of up to 75 minutes. You keep control of your environment while we examine the agreed site’s navigation, document organization, and visible access settings relevant to that question.
SCREEN SHARING - 02UP TO 3 PAGES
A prioritized written action plan.
You receive up to three pages of recommendations, priorities, assumptions, and questions requiring administrator follow-up. The plan gives your administrator a practical starting point for the next decision.
WRITTEN PLAN - 0320 MINUTES
A handoff conversation.
A 20-minute call to walk through the plan, explain the priorities, and discuss the recommended next step.
HANDOFF - 04ONE ROUND
Room to clarify.
One consolidated round of clarifications within the agreed scope. Corrections needed to meet the agreed deliverables remain part of completing this engagement.
CLARIFICATIONS
03 / KEEP THE WORK FOCUSED
A clear scope.
A careful approach.
Review and recommendations
This engagement covers one existing SharePoint Online site and one selected document library or collaboration problem, within five total hours. We agree a scope that fits that limit before work begins.
If a larger issue emerges, I will document it and recommend a separate next step.
Implementation is a separate decision
Site construction, migration, scripts, permission changes, and ongoing support require a separate agreement.
Observations from screen sharing describe the material visible during the session. A tenant-wide security or compliance audit is outside the scope.
Seven calendar days from an agreed start.
Before booking, we confirm the scope, availability, and review and handoff sessions. An inquiry starts that conversation.
Do you need administrator access?
You do not need to share administrator credentials. We work through screen sharing while you keep control of your environment. The review is limited to the relevant material and settings visible during the session; administrator follow-up questions go into the action plan.
How is confidential information handled?
Screen sharing is not recorded. Please provide sanitized examples and tell me before booking if your organization has restrictions on AI tools. Any use of confidential client material with AI requires your authorization.
What if the issue is bigger than one site?
We agree on a focused question before work begins. If the review identifies a larger issue, I will document it and recommend a separate next step. A broader review or implementation needs its own agreement.
Can you make the recommended changes?
This package provides review and recommendations. Site construction, migration, scripts, permission changes, and ongoing support are separately scoped and agreed. You can also use the written plan with your own administrator.
LET’S START WITH YOUR QUESTION
What’s getting
in the way?
Tell me about your existing SharePoint Online site, the one library or collaboration problem you want to examine, and what a useful outcome would look like. Please keep the first email brief and use sanitized examples.
I’ll help confirm whether the $500 review fits before we agree on a start.
